Quentin C. “Chris” Krziza, 92, of Niles, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, Michigan.
Quentin was born on October 12, 1925, in Dowagiac to the late Joseph A. and Ida (Stroda) Krziza. After graduating from Dowagiac Central High with the class of 1944, he was drafted into the United States Navy, proudly serving his country during WWII.
In high school Quentin was a member of the “Brother Beetle Group”. He considered them his brothers for life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Deborah A. Stewart; Beetle brothers, Glen Arter, George Smallbone, Keith Russom and Gordon Gwilt.
Quentin is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Krziza; daughter, Victoria (Marty Paquette) Krziza of Niles; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Gibbons, Robert Gibbons, Alex Paquette and Christopher Paquette; grand-dog Lily, several nieces and nephews and his Beetle Brother, Phil Vandenburg.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and his family will be remembering him privately.
